Last Sunday, I joined a wine social party in Seongsu after a slow evening run with my crew near Ttukseom. At first, I expected the mood to feel a little formal because people were carefully reading tasting notes and holding their glasses like they already knew everything. I introduced myself as a freelance content creator, and that quickly opened up conversations with people from branding, fashion, and tech. Since I studied in Canada before, I always notice how people compare small habits when they meet for the first time, and this party was full of that kind of easy cultural talk. We laughed about how differently people describe the same flavor, shared favorite date spots around Seoul, and somehow ended up talking about bouldering gyms and weekend surf trips to Yangyang. The most memorable part was realizing that the atmosphere became warmer with every round, not because of the wine itself but because everyone relaxed into honest conversation. I left feeling bright and social because the night felt stylish, easy, and genuinely connected.

Lately I have been replaying one R&B song on the bus ride home after class, and it keeps making the city feel softer than it really is.
When the chorus comes in, even the neon signs near Sinchon look a little cinematic, like my regular Tuesday got edited into a memory.
I think music does that for me more than anything else. It gives a shape to feelings I was too busy to name during the day.
Tonight I walked with my wired earphones in and let the song finish before going inside, just because I wanted that mood to last a little longer.

Last Sunday, I joined a board game social party in Seongsu after a short run along the Han River. At first, I thought the group might stay in small circles, but the games changed the mood very quickly. I introduced myself as a freelance content creator, and soon I was sitting with people from design, marketing, and tech who all had very different personalities. Since I studied in Canada before, I always notice how games make conversation easier across cultural differences, and that happened again this time. We laughed over simple strategy mistakes, traded stories about our favorite neighborhoods in Seoul, and even talked about climbing gyms and weekend surf trips to Yangyang between rounds. The most memorable part was how fast strangers became teammates. I left feeling bright and recharged because the party felt playful, easy, and genuinely social.

Last Sunday, I joined a rooftop social party in Seongsu after meeting my night running crew near Ttukseom. At first, the rooftop looked a little quiet because people were standing in small groups with drinks and sunset photos. I introduced myself as a freelance content creator, and I started talking with two people who had also studied abroad. Since I was an exchange student in Canada, I always notice how quickly people open up when they compare small cultural habits, so that part was especially fun for me. Later, we moved to one long table, shared simple snacks, and talked about climbing gyms, weekend surfing in Yangyang, and hidden running routes around Seoul. The most memorable part was watching the city lights come on while everyone became more relaxed and honest. I left feeling energized because the party was stylish but still warm, and it reminded me that Sunday nights can be social without feeling too heavy.

I spent a quiet hour at the library near Sinchon this week after class, and it ended up being the calmest part of my day. I picked up "The Remains of the Day" because I wanted something thoughtful but not too heavy, and it was exactly that kind of book. The writing felt so controlled, but under that calm surface, there was a lot of regret and longing. I kept stopping after a few pages because it made me think about how people hide their real feelings and call it maturity. Maybe that is why I liked reading it in the library. Everything was still, the rain sound was faint outside, and I could really stay with the mood of the story. As an English lit major, I always notice the language first, but this time I also kept thinking about my own life. Am I being honest about what I want, or am I also just trying to look composed all the time? I left with a few notes in my diary and that soft, slightly lonely feeling that only a good book can give. It made an ordinary Thursday feel a little more beautiful. #도서관 #책리뷰 #일상

These days I keep going back to one Frank Ocean song on my way home from Sogang. A few nights ago I left a team meeting with my head still full of business slides, put on my wired earphones, and suddenly the walk from Hongdae to Sangsu felt much softer. Nothing dramatic happened, but the song made every small thing feel honest. The crosswalk light, people talking outside bars, even the warm air after rain all felt a little cinematic. I think that is why I love music so much lately. It does not solve junior-year stress, but it helps me sit with my feelings before I turn them into neat sentences. Some songs do not make me excited. They just make me feel understood for three minutes, and honestly that is enough sometimes. I came home wanting to keep that mood like a diary line. #일상 #음악 #홍대밤

Last Sunday, I joined a climbing crew social near Ttukseom after finishing a light run by the Han River. At first, I thought the group would already know each other well, so I expected to feel a little awkward. However, the mood changed quickly because everyone started cheering for small wins on the wall. I introduced myself as a freelance content creator, and that led to easy conversations about bouldering gyms in Seoul, night running routes, and weekend surfing plans. Since I studied in Canada before, I always notice how sports make cultural differences feel smaller, and this meetup gave me that same feeling. The most memorable part was solving one short problem together with two new people and laughing every time we slipped from the same hold. I left the gym tired but refreshed because the party felt active, warm, and very natural.

Lately I have been listening to more indie pop on the subway after class, especially when my head is still full of formulas and half-finished slides. One song stayed with me this week because it did not feel dramatic at all, but it made everything around me look more honest. I had my wired earphones in, the window was reflecting the tunnel lights, and even the tired faces in the train felt a little cinematic. Recent music has been teaching me how to slow down instead of trying to explain every feeling too quickly. Maybe that is why I keep replaying soft songs at night. They do not solve anything, but they make ordinary hours feel warm enough to keep. #일상 #음악 #indiepop

Today I did my favorite small reset and wandered from Hongdae to Hapjeong with no real plan except finding good coffee. The first place was a tiny roastery hidden in a quiet alley near Sangsu. The door was old and a little heavy, and the whole cafe smelled like warm beans and buttered toast. I ordered an iced flat white, opened my iPad, and tried to organize my notes, but honestly I spent more time journaling and watching the light move across the table. Later I walked closer to Hapjeong and found another cafe with vintage chairs, low music, and that calm mood that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Their hand drip was clean and a little fruity, and even the cup looked like it belonged in an old film photo. Hongdae is fun, but I always love the quieter streets between Sangsu and Hapjeong more. They make an ordinary afternoon feel a little romantic. Nothing huge happened today, but coffee, slow walking, and a laptop screen full of half-finished thoughts were enough. Days like this make Seoul feel soft in the best way. #카페투어 #일상 #홍대 #합정 #상수

Today, I joined the class two times in current boxing gym. It was very challenging for me because of insufficient cardio&stamina. On top of that, I had been sparring for about 4 rounds and had been punched a lot. Considering the accuracy of the punch during the light spars, if it was real fight with boxing rule, I would be knocked out for several times. Anyway, I had spent a good time at the gym today because I had enjoyed the exercise. I hope I will have been managing my time and condition very well so that at the end of the day will have a good achievement in both English studying and exercising.

I have been replaying one Daniel Caesar song on the late bus these days, and it keeps changing the temperature of my night a little. Yesterday I was heading back from Seongsu with my wired earphones in, half tired from class and half distracted by a team project, but the chorus made everything feel slower in a good way. I like songs that do not demand attention too loudly. They just sit next to me and make the city lights look more honest. Maybe that is why recent music feels less like background sound and more like a small diary line I can carry home. #일상 #음악

Last Sunday, I joined a networking social party in Seongsu after a short run by the Han River. At first, I expected the mood to feel a little formal, but it became relaxed as soon as people started sharing what they do and what they enjoy outside work. I introduced myself as a freelance content creator, and that naturally led to conversations about night running, bouldering, and weekend trips to Yangyang. Since I studied in Canada before, I always notice how small cultural differences appear in conversation, and this party reminded me that curiosity is the fastest way to connect with new people. The most memorable part was talking with people from design, branding, and tech who all had completely different routines but the same bright energy. I left feeling recharged because the night felt useful, social, and genuinely fun at the same time.

Last night I kept replaying a Troye Sivan song while walking from Sinchon toward Sangsu, and it made the whole city feel softer than it really was. I had my wired earphones in, my bag felt too heavy, and I was still thinking about a business presentation from earlier, but the chorus gave me this tiny emotional pause. I love moments like that. Music cannot solve junior-year stress, but sometimes it arranges my feelings into something I can actually hold. The street was still bright, people were laughing outside a bar, and somehow I felt calm instead of left behind. Maybe that is why I stay loyal to songs that feel a little tender. They make ordinary nights look almost like diary pages. #일상 #음악 #상수밤

Lately I have been replaying one HONNE song on my way back from Sogang, especially when I cut through Sangsu after sunset. Yesterday I had my wired earphones in and the air felt a little humid, but the chorus made everything softer. I think that is why I keep loving music so much. It does not fix my junior-year stress or all the business team project chaos, but it gives my feelings a place to sit for a minute. I passed a convenience store, saw the bus lights on the wet road, and suddenly the whole night felt strangely gentle. Some songs do not make me excited. They make me honest. I came home feeling lighter, like someone had quietly organized my heart for me. #일상 #음악 #홍대밤

I stayed in the library after class today and read a few chapters of Persuasion by Jane Austen. I picked it up because I wanted something quiet, and it ended up matching my mood a little too well. Anne feels calm on the outside, but there is so much feeling underneath, and I think that is why I kept slowing down on certain lines. Junior year has been full of presentations, team projects, and too many future questions, so that silent corner in the library felt almost healing today. I left with one folded page, two underlined sentences, and a softer mind than I had when I walked in. Some books are not exciting in a loud way. They just stay with you quietly. #도서관 #책리뷰 #일상
